Ms Jacko Shun Man Tsang assumed the post of Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco on August 27, 2020.  Ms Tsang is responsible for promoting and strengthening the business, trade and cultural ties between Hong Kong and 19 western states of the United States.

Prior to the appointment, Ms Tsang was the Principal Assistant Secretary at the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau responsible for consumer protection policies, where she monitored the implementation of relevant laws to combat unfair trade practices and to regulate the safety of consumer goods. 

Ms Tsang has served in various posts within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, with policy responsibilities including civil aviation, public transport, as well as the management of the Administrative Officer Grade in the civil service. 

Ms Tsang received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University, majoring in Government.
