HKETO San Francisco participated in the Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival 2023

The Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival 2023 was successfully held on September 23-24 at the Leo J. Ryan Park in Foster City, California. The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco (HKETO San Francisco) was the Premier Sponsor of the event.

This year’s festival featured adult competitive and recreational teams, including visiting teams, on the first day while the youth races of high school dragon boat teams took place on the second day. Two championship races were named after HKETO San Francisco.

The Office hosted a booth at the two-day event introducing Hong Kong’s latest attractions from the West Kowloon Cultural District to the UNESCO Global Geopark. Spectators also played a game featuring attractions in the city to receive Hong Kong-themed souvenirs.
