Acting Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, San Francisco
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

Miss Wong joined the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government as an Administrative Officer in 2016. She started as an Assistant Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and was the liaison contact for reports and frameworks related to vocational training formulated by the Human Resources Development Working Group of APEC. In 2019, Miss Wong was seconded to the Judiciary, where she assisted in planning and executing technology-related initiatives in all judicial courts in Hong Kong. This included the planning and implementation of a court case management system to enable e-filing and e-payment, drafting of legislative amendments to enable virtual hearings across all court levels, and planning and conducting stakeholder consultations on these IT measures. Miss Wong received her Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) Degree, and a Master of International and Public Affairs, from the University of Hong Kong.
