“Radiating Bruce Lee: Cinema Under The Sky” Film Series

Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco is excited to partner with Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) for an unprecedented film series “Radiating Bruce Lee: Cinema Under The Sky”.  This curated five-film series explores the life and work of the Chinese American icon and honors his enduring legacy as a martial artist, filmmaker and actor.

Featuring a unique selection of silent, documentary, narratives, martial arts action and arthouse, each provides linkages to Lee and situates his trailblazing accomplishments at the dynamic intersection of Hong Kong and Chinese American film and cultural exchange.

Across 5 weekends in October and November, experience the cinematic grandeur and journey in Chinatown, the birthplace of Bruce Lee: at outdoor screenings at CHSA and in the Great Star Theater, where his father was a Chinese opera star during the 1930s and '40s.

The event is part of a series of activities in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
